Please keep the Mendenhall Family in your thoughts and prayers as they have been in a terrible side by side accident. On Saturday, August 24th, they were on a mountain ride with friends when they had a roll-over accident, which they suspected they rolled about 15 times. In the side by side was Logan, his wife Lacy, and their 3-year-old daughter Emma. Lacy and Emma were ejected from the side by side. They were life flighted out of the area, Logan was sent to the local hospital with severe back injuries and head lacerations, his wife Lacy was flown to Missoula as she has 2 fractures in her pelvis, multiple fractured ribs with multiple head lacerations that are now stapled. Emma was flown with Lacy to Missoula and then from there flown to Salt Lake City as she has suffered a minor brain bleed, broken shoulder, broken eye socket, broken leg, 3 fractures to her pelvic bone, and some internal injuries to her kidney and spleen. Thankfully, Logan’s mother was able to fly with Emma to Salt Lake City as Logan and Lacy are being treated for their injuries. Logan is now in Salt Lake City with Emma before she for goes her surgery. Logan is at the Salt Lake City trauma center for the back injury. Emma has endured 2 major surgeries and they have stabilized her kidney. They suspect no furthers surgeries at this time. Lacy is still in Missoula for her injuries and is having surgery to stabilize her pelvic bone. Lacy’s mother is with her at this time. Everyone is in stable condition but this unexpected event will be putting life on hold for a few months as everyone gets back on their feet.
